Our story begins in 1863 when the BC Land & Insurance Group recorded its first transaction in the Comox Valley. BC Land is the oldest continuously operating corporation in BC. In the 1950’s the company developed property in and around Victoria and in the 1960’s the business moved away from real estate and into insurance. The Campbell River office was opened in 1972 and offices were added in Gold River and Tahsis in the 1980’s followed by Quadra Island in the 1990’s.

Through our collective experience, entrepreneurial spirit and hard work, we have provided security and protection for our clients for more than 140 years.

Today, our 150 strong staff at 14 locations arrange over 100,000 Automobile, Home and Commercial Insurance policies annually for clients on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. We are prepared for the future and we are committed to providing you with peace of mind … We’ll Take Care Of It.
